The role

As IT Developer at BALR. you are part of the IT department and responsible for mapping out all workflows of the company. Your purpose is to integrate these workflows in our ERP system, in this case Netsuite. In this important role, you’ll be partnering with your IT colleagues, as well as departments such as E-commerce, Wholesale, Retail and Design & Product Development. With your expertise and focus, you’ll propose and implement process improvements.


You responsibilities

  • Assisting in the preparation and execution of data migrations (processing and data mapping);
  • Developing, testing and implementing functional improvements in the ERP system;
  • Creating and optimizing reports and dashboards in order to service other users of the ERP system;
  • Managing existing API’s and building new API’s that support business needs (Dell Boomi);
  • Proactively providing ERP system data to all relevant departments;
  • Acting as business partner to relevant departments in regards to ERP or other integrated software related questions.

Requirements

Your profile

At BALR. we are looking for an analytical and proactive IT Developer. With your data driven mindset and analytical skills you’ll act as an advisor for the business. It’s important you feel comfortable in a fast paced fashion and lifestyle environment. Therefore, an interest in fashion and lifestyle product is a plus.


  • Bachelor degree;
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role;
  • Experienced in working with ERP solutions, Netsuite is a huge plus;
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel is a must, SQL is a plus;
  • Excellent Dutch and English communication skills, both verbally and in writing;
  • Interested in fashion and lifestyle products;
  • You are analytisch, proactive, consistent and you have an eye for detail;
  • Available for a fulltime Amsterdam based position.
